Candelilla Wax

Sourced from the leaves of the Euphorbia cerifera shrub, Candelilla Wax creates a lightweight protective barrier on the skin that helps reduce moisture loss without feeling heavy. It is widely incorporated into lip balms, sticks, salves, creams, lotions, and haircare products where firmness and durability are desired.

Due to its high melting point and compatibility with oils and butters, Candelilla Wax is especially useful in solid and semi-solid formulations requiring enhanced hardness and temperature stability.

DIRECTIONS & SUGGESTED USAGE

Candelilla Wax can be incorporated into a variety of cosmetic and personal care formulations:

• Lip Balms & Lipsticks: 1 – 15% for structure and shine

• Sticks (Deodorant, Sunscreen, Solid Lotions): 2 – 20% for firmness

• Balms & Salves: 1 – 10% to thicken and stabilize

• Creams & Lotions: 0.5 – 3% for texture enhancement

Melt fully in the oil phase before combining with other ingredients.
