Carnauba Wax

Sourced from the leaves of the Copernicia prunifera palm, Carnauba Wax provides excellent structural support and a smooth, polished finish. It is commonly used in lipsticks, balms, sticks, pomades, creams, and hair styling products where firmness and stability are required, particularly in warm climates.

Due to its high melting point and compatibility with oils and butters, Carnauba Wax is ideal for formulations that require enhanced hardness and resistance to melting.

DIRECTIONS & SUGGESTED USAGE

Carnauba Wax can be incorporated into a variety of cosmetic and personal care formulations:

• Lipsticks & Lip Balms: 0.5 – 10% for hardness and shine

• Sticks (Deodorant, Solid Lotion, Sunscreen): 1 – 15% for structural integrity

• Balms & Pomades: 0.5 – 8% to increase firmness

• Hair Styling Products: 0.5 – 5% for hold and polish

Melt fully in the oil phase at high temperature before blending with other ingredients.
