Polyquaternium-7

Polyquaternium-7 is a widely used cationic conditioning polymer designed to improve hair feel, manageability, and anti-static performance in rinse-off and leave-on personal care formulations. It provides lightweight conditioning and slip while helping reduce flyaways and improve wet and dry combability.

Due to its excellent compatibility with anionic surfactant systems, Polyquaternium-7 is especially popular in shampoos, body washes, cleansing conditioners, and combination conditioning-cleansing products.

DIRECTIONS & SUGGESTED USAGE

Polyquaternium-7 can be incorporated into a wide range of cosmetic and personal care formulations:

• Shampoos & Cleansing Products: 0.1 – 0.5% for softness and reduced static

• Conditioners & Masks: 0.2 – 2% for lightweight conditioning

• Leave-In Conditioners & Detanglers: 0.1 – 1% for manageability

• Body Washes & Liquid Soaps: 0.1 – 0.5% to improve skin feel

Add to the water phase or post-emulsification with adequate mixing until fully dispersed. Compatible with anionic, nonionic, and amphoteric surfactants.
